David Carr, Jr. "Saxy Midnight"

The University of Central Oklahoma Jazz Lab is a combination of three unique elements. First and foremost the Jazz Lab is home to the Jazz Studies Division of the UCO School of Music. We currently specifically offer an Undergraduate Minor in Jazz Studies and a Master of Music in Jazz Studies. In addition, students throughout campus are involved in our courses, ensembles, and other activities regardless of their major. The Lab also features the Jazz Lab Recording Studio, a fully functional commercial quality recording and post-production facility. Finally, the Jazz Lab is a fantastic live music venue featuring local and nationally recognized artists on a weekly basis.
